Another Ten Minutes
- 15th Apr
In our weekly meetings we have the “60 seconds round”, a brief moment to run through our week and what we can offer. To complement this, each member has a 10-minute presentation at least once a year. It’s great for new members to introduce themselves properly, for other members to get to know each others’ backgrounds and what their business can offer.
Back in February, we highlighted one of our new member’s 10-minute presentation. Now it’s the turn of Graham Pinder – another new member of Peers, joining during lockdown.
Graham runs GB Pinder Ltd which provides domestic and commercial building services. He combines 15 years’ experience of construction with 10 years’ experience of project management to provide a complete service from conception to completion. Graham takes on the management of your project to help alleviate you from the stresses and strains of construction work.
GB Pinder Ltd cover jobs such as warehouse/office construction, boiler servicing, electrical testing, libraries, loft conversions, windows, kitchens and general maintenance. Smaller jobs such as book cases, gates and so on are also covered.
In Graham’s presentation he showed some of the quirkier builds of his career including a bookcase with a secret door; the office built on a floating vessel; and the installing of a jacuzzi – with no side passageway to assist. Craning a jacuzzi over housing is all in a day’s work for Graham!
Graham said “I find being a member of Peers is useful. Not only do we refer work and contacts within the group, the group has a wide range of professions who offer differing views and solutions to current issues.”
Graham would love to hear from you if you have any construction plans.
We’ll create more blogs around our members 10-minutes as we progress through the year, so watch this space! The best way, of course, to see a presentation is live, even if virtually. So why not contact us and come along to see for yourself?
