Southend Peers is an established Southend-on-Sea business networking and referral group that meets each Thursday morning.

Our meetings are both fun and fruitful, we welcome business owners, and would-be business owners alike, to get together to build valuable professional relationships; relationships that support, enhance and positively build business.

Our Meetings

What to expect

Our meetings follow a familiar format, but with a ‘Peers’ twist.

Each week, members have the opportunity to deliver a 60-second message to the group, followed by a nominated member presenting a 10-minute introduction to themselves and their business.

Occasionally we also split into breakout groups to discuss business challenges and opportunities and how they affect our respective businesses.

Due to many clients complaining of high costs to promote their sites online, Southend Oracle online directory www.southendoracle.co.uk was launched in October 2019 and the site’s online presence continues to grow in strength attracting both businesses and residents to become members. Each business member is able to create a unique login, giving them complete control of their online ‘webvert’. The site also offers viewers local news, local events (which can be added/updated by viewers), competitions and much more.
