Southend Peers is an established Southend-on-Sea business networking and referral group that meets each Thursday morning.

Our meetings are both fun and fruitful, we welcome business owners, and would-be business owners alike, to get together to build valuable professional relationships; relationships that support, enhance and positively build business.

Our Meetings

What to expect

Our meetings follow a familiar format, but with a ‘Peers’ twist.

Each week, members have the opportunity to deliver a 60-second message to the group, followed by a nominated member presenting a 10-minute introduction to themselves and their business.

Occasionally we also split into breakout groups to discuss business challenges and opportunities and how they affect our respective businesses.

Southend Peers is more than just a networking group, each year we nominate a number of local charities and engage in a number of fundraising events.

Steven Lescott formed Lescott in 2012 by incorporating his existing accountancy practice. Based in Wickford, the practice provides excellent advice to business and individual clients alike.

In addition to the core skills of general accountancy and taxation, the practice assists the business in planning and to grow and develop.

The client base is varied, ranging from small self-employed individuals to larger corporate concerns.

Steven has a wealth of experience in the profession having operated within both small and large practices based in London and locally.
